More LA Malibu and Beverly Hills

A slow morning (would you expect anything else from us) and off to the Getty Villa. Something similar to the Cloisters but in a flashier LA style. Then along to Malibu on the Pacific Coast Highway, quite shabby and doesn't really compare to the Great Ocean Road, but there were lots of houses and lots of people trying to surf. Drove up onto the ridge behind Beverly Hills for great views of the sprawl, some stressful navigating (for Claire) around Hollywood on an architecture tour. Then we took in a Lakers game, they were playing the Milwaukee Bucks and were not troubled at any point, winning comfortably. The spectacle, including all rising for the national anthem, was an experience. Then back on the freeway and out of LA, north towards Sequoia for tomorrow for a change of scenery.
